The gala launching of the Malaysian International Gourmet Festival at the One World Hotel

To tell you the truth I have never been to a gala before. So when the invitation card says evening gown and another two days to go..I panicked.. I only had my cocktail dress... Last Wednesday approximately at 9.30 pm I found my gown at Egete at One U after trying a few in Phenomenal.. No more time to go to Bangsar Village.. Never buy anything when you panick.. I found my dream corsettlike red evening gown at Blook OU the following day..One thing I love bout clothes is that I can carry red- tomato red, fushia pink and turquoise blue..

This gala was wonderful.. That very night we get to taste the finest gourmet from restaurants and hoteliers from around the country. Also famous chefs from all over the world..

While waiting for the YM Yamtuan Besar Negeri Sembilan we saw ambassadors, socialites including the famous Dato' Farah Khan herself..I must say she got beautiful legs even Elaine Daly is soso only that night..See Hoy Chan's boss..Datos and datins.. models..

But get this.. the only thing I can drink that night was coke, vegetarian cocktail, and orange juice..woops no H2O.. Red wine, white wine and Calsberg was free flowing the whole evening.. My kidney was bursting by 10.00pm..

Nevertheless, I enjoyed myself although it was boring at first..I love fine food.. I love getting all dress up.. i love the music as well.. Walla.. too bad my stomach doesn't have a big space for sushi or more french cuisine.. Creme' brulee was delicious.. I am always passionate about my food.. Kl Hilton, Genting Hotel and Park Royal was marvellous.. Tamarind Springs, Le Francais and the Dining Room..

Somehow I wish I was a millionaire or heiress like Paris Hilton... BON APPETIT!

The Festival will start from 2/11-30/11 2007..
